School of Joy processes the following special and/or sensitive personal data about you:

School of Joy only processes special and/or sensitive personal data when registering for hypnosis sessions with regard to health and, where applicable, data from persons younger than 16 years of age, provided by parent(s) or guardian(s). We do not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. Unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have recorded personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us at ayla@schoolofjoy.nl and we will delete this information.

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data

School of Joy processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • For the careful handling of orders and registrations for our various forms of service. We want to be able to inform you by e-mail and or telephone about changes and other important information. To be able to call or e-mail you if necessary to carry out our services
  • Handling your payment
  • To deliver goods and services to you
  • School of Joy also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data that we need for our tax return.

Automated decision-making

School of Joy does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. This concerns decisions that are taken by computer programs or systems, without involving a person (for example an employee of School of Joy).

How long do we keep personal data

School of Joy does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:

  • Education/courses School of Joy stores the personal data for as long as necessary, among other things to be able to provide a copy of the diploma again, to invite them to follow-up meetings.
  • For storing the health data the legal term of 20 years is observed. In case of data stored of persons younger than 18, the data will be stored for 20 years from the moment the person turns 18.
  • School of Joy may keep personal data longer if there are circumstances that give cause to do so.

Sharing of personal data with third parties

School of Joy does not share your data with other parties, with the exception of a number of courses and master classes. Where data is shared, for example for the award of a diploma or certificate, explicit permission is requested in the registration form for the sharing of the data. with companies that process your data on our behalf, we form a processing contract, to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. School of Joy remains responsible for these processing operations.

School of Joy takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
